On January 15, 2014, 23 year old Xavier Tarrand was dropped off by a friend at the RaceTrac gas station on the corner of Hwy 50 and SR 33 in Groveland. Xavier got into a black Honda with unknown occupants. Forty minutes later Xavier called the friend and told him he would return to the RaceTrac but never did. Xavier was known to be a member of the Groveland Boys aka the Stuckey Boys. His disappearance caused tension between the Groveland Boys and the Zellwood Boys, to include, it is suspected, a later shooting death in Stuckey. Over the next several days, some of Xavier’s belongings were found discarded off Hwy 50 in Ocoee. Nine days later, the Honda he was picked up in was found burned in Apopka and had been reported stolen. Evidence at that scene led detectives to believe Xavier had been there and shots were fired at that location. Xavier is officially a missing person, however, it is suspected he may also be the victim of foul play, possibly in Orange County.
Xavier was born in January, 1990 and goes by the nickname “Dudda”. He is 5’11” and 180 pounds. He is a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right hand “free rat”, a tattoo on his left hand “rat $” and a tattoo on his chest “self made.” He was last seen wearing a Nascar M&Ms jacket.
Xavier's whereabouts remain UNKNOWN.
