Guradath Persaud was a 53-year-old business owner in Mascotte. On the afternoon of November 7, 2009, an employee of Mr. Persaud's arriving for work found his body inside his shop, Mascotte Auto Sales on W. Meyers Blvd. near the intersection of N. Sunset Ave. The business was a combination used car dealership and auto repair shop.

In addition to being a local business owner, Mr. Persaud was also a husband and father. Detectives are seeking any information that would lead to the identity of the person(s) responsible for Mr. Persaud's death.
