Jose DeLeon was found deceased on May 6, 2009 in a wooded area off CR 48 in Okahumpka. Jose was from Guatemala, had only been in the Unites States a few months, and was known to visit other cities in Florida as well as Lake County. Jose had not been seen for a few days prior to being located in Okahumpka. At the time he was found, Jose was wearing blue jeans with a brown belt, brown steel toe work boots and a collared shirt with fish and fishing lures. Jose was a Hispanic male, 43 years old at the time of his death.

Detectives are seeking any information that would lead to the identity of the person(s) responsible for Jose's death.
