On the evening of January 5, 2000, 23-year-old Marlon Nelson was shot to death, set on fire, and left on the side of SR 19 near Revels Road in Howey. Marlon lived in Orlando and was last seen there on January 5 around 2PM in the company of two black males driving a blue Lexus car. Marlon used a prosthetic left leg and was last seen wearing gray gym pants with blue trim, a light-colored t-shirt, and tennis shoes. Detectives believe Marlon likely knew his killer(s).

Detectives are seeking information leading to the whereabouts or activities of Marlon Nelson on January 5, 2020, and to the identity of the person(s) responsible for his death.
