TWO MEN ARRESTED IN DRUG BUST IN TAVARES
On May 13, 2021, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Investigations Bureau, with the assistance of the sheriff’s SWAT team, executed a search warrant at 31726 Tropical Shores Drive in Tavares. The residence was believed to be a known location where narcotics were commonly used and sold.
Three adults and four juveniles were located in the residence at the time the search warrant was served.
A search of the residence yielded 29 grams of Fentanyl, 8 grams of heroin, one High Point .45 cal. semi auto pistol, 72 grams of marijuana.
Eddie James Mcholder, 38, was charged with trafficking in Heroin, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, armed trafficking in fentanyl, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jaylon Buggs, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana over 20 grams with intent to sell and possession of paraphernalia.
