Kristy Marden 

is a life-long resident of Lake County, Florida. She became employed with the Lake County Sheriff's Office in February 1998 and has since had the opportunity to work alongside the dedicated men and women of this agency. As the Director of Administration, Mrs. Marden works directly for the Sheriff and oversees his Administrative Office. Mrs. Marden has attended Lake-Sumter Community College and is a graduate of Leadership Lake County, Class of 2000.

Mrs. Marden serves as a volunteer and Team Captain for the 'March of Dimes' and is also a past volunteer and Team Captain for the American Cancer Society. She was also the recipient of the Lake County Sheriff's Office 'Dr. Thomas Cook Memorial Volunteer Award' in April 2006.

Mrs. Marden is married to her husband, Michael, and is the proud mother of two children and two step-children. Mrs. Marden and family reside in Leesburg and are members of Grand Island Baptist Church.
