OVERVIEW:
The Honor Guard is one of the oldest specialized units assembled by the Lake County Sheriff's Office. The Honor Guard consists of 20 deputies throughout the Sheriff’s Office. Each deputy is equipped with full dress uniforms for multiple details and occasions. On an average, the Honor Guard conducts between 40 to 50 details per year.

TRAINING & DETAILS:
All members of this team are trained in:
  • Marching/saluting techniques
  • Post colors/Present colors
  • Pall bearer/Flag folding duties
  • 7 man shotgun firing squad
  • Calling commands for movement
The Honor Guard details range from:
  • Holiday festivals
  • Ceremonial services
  • Civic functions
  • Community Services/Parades throughout Lake County
  • Memorial Services/Funeral details
