Visitation is no longer at the Detention Center; it is now Video Visitation,
which can be set up remotely to visit from home or the option to video visit at the Lake County Detention Center Visitation Center.

Inmates are allowed two (2) free video visits per week, at the Visitation Center. Visits may last up to one (1) hour per visit.
Inmates on disciplinary confinement may not have a video visit.
VISITATION RULES:
Must be 18 years of age.
A current government issued photo ID is required for anyone 18 and older.
No minors will be left alone, they must have a parent or guardian present with them at all times or they will be asked to leave.
No tank tops, spaghetti strap/strapless tops.
No tops that are revealing or see through.
No short dresses, skirts or short-shorts.
If you have a cell phone, make sure it is set on vibrate, so not to disturb other visitors.
You are not allowed to take pictures of the inmates.
You are not allowed to call anyone on the cell phone during a visit to also visit with the inmate.
VIDEO VISITATION:
A person can visit right from the comforts of their own home. In order to do this,

From there, follow the directions for how to setup an account.
A current photo and government issued I.D. will be needed in order to setup video visitation.
